DALLAS, TEXAS (BNO NEWS) — A discussion about one of the matches of the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa let to a deadly shooting in Dallas, Texas on early Sunday, local media reported.
It was unclear whether the discussion that took place referred to the match between Germany and England or Argentina versus Mexico, but Texas has a significant Latino community.
The Dallas Morning News said the discussion took place around 3.00 a.m. local time and that it ended abruptly when one of the attendees at the party went to his car for a gun and shot at the people, killing two.
The attacker also shot himself in the leg during the fight.
Police did not immediately release the names of those involved in the east Oak Cliff neighborhood gunfight.
