England goalkeeper Robert Green is reportedly having a tough time after he mistakenly helped USA level the game against his team. It has been pointed out that the player is going through an emotional low post his split from the gorgeous model Elizabeth Minett.

Despite his efforts to concentrate on the game, Green seems not to have overcome the hangover of the separation. Elizabeth and Green who were living together for quite some time ended their relationship shortly before the World Cup. However, the goalie’s agent Andy Evans announced that the player’s focus was not affected. “Their relationship was over many months ago. This really is not an issue and Rob has gone into the World Cup prepared mentally and as focused as possible”, he added.

Meanwhile, Green said sorry to England fans for his blunder that transformed a weak shot into a goal for the rivals. He also said, “But the important thing is you are ready and willing to work mentally on it. It’s not a problem. I’ve done it before, I’m 30 years old and I’ve learned to deal with these things.” The entire team too has vowed its support to Green in every way possible. However, within the group, Slovenia has claimed the top position, leaving England in a tight spot as they desperately require a win against Algeria.
