A UPS Cargo Plane crash occurred in Dubai on Friday caused with troubles reported during the flight. The accident caused two deaths that were the crew members of the plane and later caught fire as it was landed. The officials say that the flight was informing troubles and then it was diverted to a military compound after its take off from the Dubai International Airport at 18:40 pm (1440 GMT).
The two bodies of the unfortunate crew members were recovered after the plane made a rough landing. The ambulance and fire extinguishers took immediate charge just as the aircraft caught fire on the ground after hitting with the parking lot. The plane is reportedly to hit its last break at over a 20km away from the Dubai International Airport near a UAE military camp.
Although the right cause of the accident has not been recovered as yet, but the UPS spokeswoman Kristen Petrella makes her statements as: “This incident is very unfortunate and we will do everything we can to find the cause,” UPS’ airline and international operations manager Bob Lekites said in a statement.â€
“Our thoughts go out to the crew members involved in the incident and their families.”
Saif al-Suwaidi, general manager of civil aviation confirms of no big damage to the airport authority and ground, and has made no effects over the flights. So the other flights are found to be on a regular schedule. Suwaidi also reveals certain other details of as to what really happened during the flight: The pilot reported fire and smoke in the cockpit and was instructed to return to Dubai. After failing to land at the airport, the plane disappeared from radar screens and was found later (at the crash site),”
The flight was Boeing 747-400 that was a UPS cargo plane, routed to the UPS hub in Cologne, Germany, as confirmed by Kristen Petrella, and had two of the crew members inside it who unfortunately lost lives in the the unexpected massacre. Although, this had not been the first care to bring down the crew members to death out of such mis-happenings on cargo flights.
