Zsa Zsa Gabor

The 93 year old actress, Zsa Zsa Gabor, who was in the news some time back, as she fell off the bed, around two months back, watching “Jeopardy,” is now at home. She was hospitalized for a day. Zsa Zsa Gabor has been taking rounds of the hospital since July 17.

The Moulin Rouge star had to undergo a hip surgery because of the accident. The old actress was sitting at home watching her favorite show “Jeopardy” with a friend, John Blanchette, when she fell of her bed.

The actress was trying to reach for the phone, which was ringing and had been placed on the other side of the bed, when she accidentally fell off. Gabor’s husband, Prince Frederic von Anhalt, was very upset after the whole incident occurred. He was scared that the hip surgery might not be very successful because of his wife’s old age. John Blanchette told the media people about Zsa Zsa’s homecoming.

“She came home yesterday morning,” “They put her on a different painkiller. She was in constant pain.”

“They have to move her every couple of hours to keep her circulation going, to keep her from getting bed sores,” he said. “We’re not sure what’s going to happen. She’s at home and they’re hoping she’ll be able to stay there for a while.”

On Thursday, Gabor seemed much better. She felt much better than earlier. Gabor could now easily move her leg from here to there. Her husband, Prince Frederic von Anhalt, was asked of her to pick up matzo ball soup the next day.

On Tuesday, her husband, Prince Frederic von Anhalt, had called the Los Angeles hospital to call an ambulance because the former socialite was unresponsive. Gabor’s hospital rounds are not the first time for her. In the year 2002, the actress went through a terrible car accident and was put to a wheelchair.
