Elizabeth Olsen, the younger sibling of the famous Gremlin twins, Ashley and Mary-Kate is all set to star in a movie. This is quite a revelation since there have been no apparent intention of hiding away the 21 year old Olsen from public scrutiny but the public never realised that there was another talented Olsen besides Ashley and Mary-Kate who’s keen on proving herself too. It is lamentable that nothing has been said about this future starlet considering the uncanny resemblance with her famous sisters.

Well, now she has a chance to attain the stardom her sisters have been privy to. Elizabeth Olsen aka Lizzie has just wrapped up shooting “Peace, Love and Misunderstanding”. She portrays the grand-daughter of Jane Fonda’s character and named Zoe. Fonda later commented on her blog that”when her face is seen on the screen in this movie it’ll be hard for her not to do more films.” Looks like Fonda’s prediction is right since the Olsen sister is soon to be cast in the Indie flick, “Martha Marcy May Marlene.”

The film has been reportedly developed by Sundance and chronicles the story of Martha who ditches a cult and flees to her older sister. The Olsen twins who haven’t had decent offers in years (although Mary-Kate has a critical role in Beastly in her kitty), would be proud of their younger sister, Lizzie since the film she stars in would largely feature her.

It is in fact strange that the public have been so blind to the Elizabeth Olsen since her older and more acclaimed twin sisters never tried to conceal her. They had let her have small roles in their own films and the unmistakable Olsen look. Elizabeth has reportedly starred in 5 of her older siblings’ flicks namely, “The Adventures of Mary-Kate and Ashley”. One of these is “The Adventures of Mary-Kate and Ashley:The Case of the Mystery Cruise” (1995). She played Lizzie Olsen in these films.

The older twins have also named a fashion line called Elizabeth+James which are the names of their younger siblings. So, it seems once the shock of Lizzie Olsen’s appearance wears off, she would be greatly appreciated in the film circles as it had been foretold.
