Here’s one big shocking story!! A woman confesses about killing her own eight new born babies. The prosecutor says the husband had no idea about it at all.

The 47 year old lady, Dominique Cottrez is under investigation process on account of the deaths and the man (her husband) is freed.

Being placed under investigation is the first stage of criminal proceedings that can lead to charges.

The Lawyer for Mr Cottrez claims for charges on having investigated wrongly for killing and hiding the dead bodies.

Even shocking to find out while getting deeper into the story. The dead remains were searched out of a village of Villers-au-Tertre, near the northern Lille in a garden, and the couple was then immediately taken away.

The prosecution says that the lady was completely aware of her pregnancies, and did not want any more children. But for this, she did not wish to see any doctor for contraception. “This is a case outside of the norms given the number of newborns,” he added.

The lady clears it out by telling that she could not give any birth to babies after the first one due to her high weight, and also didn’t want to see any doctor. She said that she used to be all alone during her pregnancies too while giving birth.

The dead remains were found out wrapped inside plastics bags hidden under a lot of other stuff in the garbage and gardens too.

The doctors tell the dates of the births of the babies that took place between 1989 and 2006-07, the prosecutor said, and further will be recognized by more tests.
The biggest part is that her husband had never realized here to be in pregnancies out her heavy weight and body type, and also didn’t know anything about the killing of the born babies.

The man and woman have two grown-up daughters and grandchildren. The two daughters do not have any idea and couldn’t really comment on what had just been happening.

“We never noticed anything. She had her moments of weariness, it’s true, but she worked nearly 24 hours a day between her job as a home help and her housework”, the younger daughter said.

“She was there at the delivery with me, she was the one who carried him and wrapped him… We both had tears in our eyes”, the elder one recalls about her own delivery and how the lady had been helping her with that too.

The daughters hope for some psychological help for their mother. “She must feel relieved now that she has nothing left to hide,” said one.

Mrs Cottrez works for a construction company as a care worker while Mr Cottrez works for a construction company and is a member of the local council.

“He’s on his third term in office. He used to volunteer in the community. He’s a respectable man,” told the local mayor Patrick Mercier.
